About how much do sweatshirts shrink?

I ordered a medium sweatshirt; I wear Girlie Medium tees, but I didn't order a small because I was worried it would shrink too much. I just got my medium sweatshirt, and it's kind of too on me. About how much will it shrink? Is there any way I can make it shrink more?

i was wondering the same thing...i'm guessing you've figured it out since you posted this in may though. so, how much does it shrink??

hey...i just ordered an XS sweater and can't find any posts on how much it shrinks...can u please reply and let me know...i usually wear girly S and this XS is huge on me, the sleeve are too long and its too wide

I still haven't washed my I'm sure I Used to Fit hoodie for fear of it shrinking too much... but I guess I'd rather have a somewhat shrunken sweatshirt than a cloud of dirt surrounding me Pig-Pen style...
