Hey Howdy,

I started a brewery back in April called Arcade Brewery one of the things besides beer that were doing is refurbishing old arcade cabinets to host indie game developers games. If anyone knows anyone or is interested in submitting their games to us please hit me up at lance@arcadebrewery.com We would feature you on our website and will be touring the machines around Chicago for gaming events.

We are currently assembling a Winnitron machine as well Winnitron

We like beer, games, and comics.

So awesome! I was just thinking about arcade cabinets today. That's basically all I did today, think about cabinets for arcade.

have you ever been to an arcade graveyard? It's kind of like heaven but everything is dead... but you can use technology to bring it back even better than before

No, but I feel like there might be one in New Jersey. I will begin the research, this is the coolest thing!

I've been talking with the dudes at Babycastles in New York. They do some amazing indie game events in and around New York http://babycastles.tumblr.com/ I'm trying to get them to come to Chicago to do something at Threadless

Beer and games? That is the best business idea in the history of business (right next to crowdsourcing shirt designs)

You should use some of those sit-down two player style cabinets some old games used. Those were sweet. Plus, its already like a table..so you can set your beer wherever.

Now games like enduro racer.. probably wouldn't work so well ;)

I'm working on turning one of the cabinets into a kegerator as well as a playable cabinet... there's a company that actually makes them but I'd prefer to custom make one Arkeg

I have a line of comic beer coming out as well called "6pack stories" The first 6pack is being written by Jason Aaron with artwork by the Tony Moore. It's going to be a western zombie tale.

Also, working on the idea called final boss. Where each beer in a 6 pack is a level with a boss and you have to drink it to beat it. I wanted to host a design challenge to design the boss for each level... wink wink nudge nudge @threadless

Great idea, that would be similar to the whole 6, 8, 10, 12 thing with Trappist/Abbey beers.

My friend has one of those USA/Russia dome hockey tables from the 80's in his mancave basement. God I wish he would get that thing fixed.
