Where can I get cheap custom shirts?
Hi guys!

I'm doing a fundraising walk for ALS (better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) and my team needs shirts made up... Do you know of anywhere where we can get super cheap shirts printed, for 10 - 15 people?

If I would you I'd get sponsors to give you buisness cards etc to be printed on the back so you could collect donations and use that to get the shirts printed. Who knows, maybe the printer would even do the shirts free if they got to include their advertisment...

for only 10-15 have you considered doing iron on transfers?? you can do that on your own computer...and i just bought t-shirts yesterday from michaels's crafts for $2.00 each.

It's probably just me, but they don't work so well... I bought the avery ones at staples and a couple of test runs ended up horrible!!!!

the important thing with iron-on transfers is you have to be very accurate when cutting out the design, so you don't get those transparent foil blotches

the temp of the iron has to be just right and "no steam"
it helps to trim around the design leaving very little white space around it because you end up with a weird clear boxy shape. it is hit or miss. i did tote bags and they came out pretty good. get an extra shirt to test on...or an old shirt you don't care about tossing.

I've used the iron on stuff with good results. Mine never had anything to do with foil though...it was just a clear plasticky kinda paper.
