So, I do some design and marketing at this small business, and they wanted me to make a new logo. They had really specific criteria, and I was having a hard time with it. I called up my friend who just got her degree in Graphic Design last year to see if my company could pay her to make a logo, and she said NO!
It was like, "Hey, Kathy, we would really appreciate it if you could design us a logo, since I've been banging my head against a wall trying to do it. You would be paid!" "Oh, I don't think I have time, I just started this science class and it's keeping me really busy." Going to school part time and working 20 hours a week doesn't make you that busy, and she would be fairly compensated! What really bums me the most is that she wasn't willing to help a friend at all. Now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Hopefully, the new shirts will cheer me up.
