Hey everyone, so this is my first post.

Anyway, I got Captain Awesome in the mail today (I exchanged a guy's M for a S, the M was cavernous) and tried it on, noticing it was quite a bit longer than the other small Threadless shirts I own (maybe because of the checklist at the bottom of the shirt). This is consistent with a weird sizing trend that I have noticed with my six shirts; my guy's Pandamonium Small is ridiculously undersized and I wish I could exchange it for a medium, but it's too late. Fruit of the Plume (S) is fine and so is my Water, Water (although it's kinda itchy, but that's a different topic).

What's weird is that I have Biblical Disaster and Florence Nightingale in M and they are practically the same size as Captain Awesome in S. I don't know if anyone else has had similar experiences, but I found this a bit frustrating.

I think that they might've changed up the company in which they print the shirts on.

The men's medium in dark gray and sagestone come bigger than most other mediums.

i think when printing the custom tags on the tee, they some times mess up, like they'll throw a large in the medium bin by accident, and since theres no tag saying it is a large, theyll print medium on it.

Yeah, all my shirts are different sizes/lengths, to a really noticeable degree.

My older ones are shorter (Teddybear loves Teddyboy, The Internet) while my MONDAY!! and Honest Tee are so long I have to fold them over.

They get better with every wash, tho.

And TFM design, it's quite possible that that's what happens once in a while. But they do cut the American Apparel labels off...sometimes you can still have a teensy bit of label on the tee.

from all the shirts ive ordered i have noticed that:

the gold runs very big

the black, green and burgundy fit like they should

sagestone and red are a little big (the wash/dryer can fix them)

blue fits like the black, except the body is a little long

pink and brown are a bit loose through the body

grey is extra long and has huge sleeves

I've also noticed this! Sometimes I buy a men's medium and its a perfect fit, other times its tight and small. So I thought maybe I'm growing or they've just been washed too many times. So I switched to larges and it seems to be the same, sometimes a perfect fit other times they seem like xl's.

Yeah, I pick Larges just so I don't accidentally end up with something too small because you can never tell what you're going to get (within a given realistic interval), despite the sizing charts they provide.

I may love you, because you used the word "cavernous" in a sentence. :)

my gold tornado body is quite a slim fit personally. There are no consistant rules except everything is a bit fucked up.

Yeah I think that American Apparel changed their shirts (or Threadless is buying a different style) because all of my old shirts run real short, but my newer ones are ridiculously long. Meh.
