I've figured it out, all you need to do to escape the "loose the text" meme that threadless users love, is just make the text in another language, and then people are too busy trying to translate the text to tell the designer to toss it.

I kid I kid, but really I like the shirt and just had an epiphany. (a lot of shirts really do well with text when it's taken into consideration in the design, not just slapped on, imo)

Maybe I'll buy it for my brother if it wins.
