I loooooove this shirt. I bought it the day it was printed. I've worn it once. Now it's sitting on my dresser as I'm afraid to wash it.

Why the washing fear, you ask. Well, because I don't want the print to get messed up. I'm sure it will be fine and I'm just being paranoid, but I thought I would consult you, my Threadless comrades, first.

Does anyone have any preserve-the-print tips for me? I mean, for Threadless shirts specifically. I have dozens of Threadless shirts, all have been washed numerous times, and most have held up perfectly. However, there are a couple that have not. I fear Mr. Mittens will be among the latter.

So. WASHING TIPS?

I wash everything with cold water, and dry it on the lowest heat setting (usually takes like 1.5 hours for them to dry completely), and my shirts tend to survive for a very long time.

Also, I wash mine inside out.

I usually wash mine normally, then dry it to shrink it a bit. And they have all been fine. But now you've got me worried. lol

Hand wash, Don't use a dryer! Hang it up outside, inside out.

Yeah, I always wash mine in cold water, inside out. And then I put them in the dryer, still inside out. And so far I haven't had any problems. Although when I get Mister Mittens (I said WHEN, not IF, because positive thinking will help it not sell out in my size before a sale) I'm probably going to be paranoid too.

I always wash cold water, never machine dry. I don't think I've had problems with fading on any of my shirts. Although having over 60 shirts to choose from might help with that problem.
