But no design skills whatsoever... it really bums me out because I think its a good one. I keep trying and it turns out poorly. Am I allowed to tell somebody with better drawing skills my idea in like the hopes that if it wins I get hooked up with some shirts? Is that allowed? I was just curious.

sure i would do it if you really think it's a good idea. there's no rule against it.

I'm in the same boat as you, but I don't think my idea is too good.

Okay, well I might as well share it considering it might be golden as a threadless shirt, but as an idea in my mind its absolutely worthless, lol.

First some back story *wavy lines and all that jazz*

I was going to the grocery store the other day and there were these little girl scouts trying to peddle their cookies off the weak-minded sweet-tooth consumers (such as myself). So I bought a box... and then I was sitting around thinking about it while devouring the box of thin mints I just bought when it came to me...

"Support Our Troops" and then have a little girl in a girl scout-esque uniform like pulling a wagon full of cookie boxes...

I think it might work if someone is able to execute it right. And considering I can't draw anything, I figure I will give it to someone who can in the hopes that if it wins I get a little kickback of sorts. If it doesn't win I'll give you the STP's whenever I get the money to make another order off of here for the trouble of designing it. Thanks for hearing out the rambling, and I hope someone is capable of making this look really awesome to where it could win. I'm wishing whomever luck!

I'm dumb with descriptions. can you elaborate on that?

okay well you have the Support Our Troops on the shirt somehow, and then you have a young girl (or a group of girls) that are pulling along a wagon (like a radio flyer type wagon) that just has the appearance of many little boxes of cookies. (like different colors if you could with the 5 color thing). I can draw a very rough sketch (we're talking stick figures) in a few days to try and make the idea more clear.

Did that help any?

"it really bums me out because I think its a good one" vs. "I'm in the same boat as you, but I don't think my idea is too good."

which is it? lol

what you could do is have the girl scout standing next to her wagon chock-full of cookie boxes with a pouty face, and a sign next to her in girly scrawl that says Support Our Troops

All about me
I'm a 20 year old college student from Ohio. I've got a slacker attitude and a 3.7 GPA (which I never think makes any sense). I've been studying Business Management and Marketing and will be transferring to Wittenberg University in the fall to study International Business with a minor in either Communication or City/Urban Development. I'm an avid music listener and hopefully a future DJ for my next colleges radio station, if I get that I'll be sure to post a link to the web broadcast for all of you to check out.

I'm in love with art, was a graphic design major for a quarter until I figured out you had to be able to draw to succeed in that major, so I went to marketing instead. Currently in love with what I'm learning and hope I can get a halfway awesome job by the time I'm through with college.
