Did anybody else in the DC area go to see the Flobots last night? The tickets sold out online before I bought one. I almost didn't get to go. I found some dude inside the club that listed 1 ticket on Craigslist at the last minute. I called him up and got in for $20! The only bad part was that the people at the door took my Nikon away from me. They said it was "too professional". I still took some pics and videos with my cheapo Kodak.
I'm going to try and get a ticket tonight for Gnarls Barkley tomorrow too!  *it looks like the blogs don't get along with Flickr videos....there are 3 video clips on my Flickr page if you're interested*
If you could only go to one day of the Virgin Mobile Festival 2008, which day would you choose? Keep in mind there's also a pre-season NFL Redskins game on Day 1 of the festival at 7:00 PM that I might be going to.
Day 1 - Foo Fighters, Offspring, Wilco !!! Day 2 - She&Him (Zooey Deschanel), Stone Temple Pilots, Paramore !!! Also, what the heck is up with the restriction on cameras? Just because I have a camera with a changeable lens doesn't mean I'm a "professional". Checklist - NAY No video cameras No audio recording devices No professional cameras (changeable lenses)
