I AM SO HAPPY! i was way too excited when i got my package to take pictures before i opened stuff, so i just have the post-unwrapping photos, which i will put up once i get back from the grocery store. thank you aurora21! it is an awesome package!

the discovery space shuttle went up saturday night- i watched the launch on NASAtv at nasa.gov and then watched astronauts float around. and for the past two days i have been watching the control room and saw the shuttle link up with the international space station about an hour ago and it floated past central australia and peru and all this awesome stuff. in a little under an hour they're going to open the hatches and the shuttle folk and all the russian folk are going to meet and have a "welcome ceremony". i checked the tv schedule. yeah! anyway, fuck yeah, space.

i just realized one of my gifts to my secret santa was based on some misinformation i had in my head about them! let's hope that in their christmas spirit they can forgive me for being a ridiculous person. i am sorry, secret santa recipient, but it's toooooo late now.

my friend was driving us home from a track workout and we yielded to a car on a rotary and then went and then another car went speeding through at like 45 mph and i shut my eyes and then we hit him. it wasn't too bad, he just had a dent in his door but he insisted it wasn't his fault, which is a lieee. anyway, an ambulance stopped by and then the police and two firetrucks came! it was very exciting and the police were pretty nice about everything.

whee. does anyone have an exciting thanksgiving weekend story? slash normal weekend story for those not from the US?

but i can't tell you what it is. has anyone else started compiling their shit? i need to get on that, kind of. i have a couple things but a few of my great ideas have yet to be realized.

how can you remember the difference between cations and anions?

d'ac, so i had my ears pierced and a cartilege ring in my left ear when i went to paris this summer and then i got my ears double pierced there so that i could do more later. so, i am allowed to get one more piercing and it has to be in my ear(s). i want an eyebrow ring but i've got to wait until i'm 18, sadly. i was thinking a third ring in my right ear (the one with only 2 holes in it so far) but what are other interesting options?

i was walking into this delicious pizza place that happens to be named after me in cambridge, mass. last night at 6:45ish and i saw a boy in teddybear loves teddyboy. i hope you're blogging because it was very exciting. sadly, i did not say anything because he was leaving as i was entering.

in other news, i found out today that i don't have asthma. woo.

i'm sitting on the couch in a room with tons of windows and there's kids who think my house is the flashlight tag house. i think they're related to me, but i'm not really sure, and they're screeching and peering in the windows at me.

now the question is, how do i scare the shit out of these kids?
