we'll i've scored over 20,000 tees now..
and many many other people have scored thousands too
and I think it would be great if everyone that has scored over a certain amount of tee's should get some street team points. Seeing that alot of people spend alot of time scoring tee's :)

what does everyone else think

Uhhh... I do not think so.

wow!!!!!! i think that is a great idea

do you score every design?
eoin3
eoin3 on Oct 11 '05 at 11:45pm
That's great and I wouldn't begrudge you any awards for your diligence. I would score every submission but with Dial-up it takes me like 1 to 2 minutes per sub and I just don't have the time...

3 points every 4,000 scores.

Haha, I like this idea, mainly because I like voting on subs 8o)

sailonsilvergirl on Oct 12 '05 at 12:24am
except i can imagine a lot of people being less thoughtful when scoring, just to get through them all.

^ thats true they'd have to make it somehow so that doesnt happen

And, people could just set up programs to click for them and leave their computers on all night.

could have one of those things where you have to type out the letters in the box every time you vote. but that would make me vote less.
Pico
Pico on Oct 12 '05 at 12:47am
Eh, it only takes me a few minutes to go through the new subs everyday, since there's usually only 60-100 new ones. I can see the potential for abuse though, but if points were only offered every 2,000+ votes, I bet a lot of people just wouldn't bother.
Ava Adore
Ava Adore on Oct 12 '05 at 12:50am
exactly,

and you couldnt be a new member either.

and have it in thousands, and maybe based on the avg. score too

so they cant score 0's to all

"could have one of those things where you have to type out the letters in the box every time you vote. but that would make me vote less."

I'd hate having to do that every time I wanted to vote on a sub.

I think it's fine the way it is. *shrug*

yeah. i don't feel i need any compensation for voting.

I don't score many subs anymore :/

I'm in the same boat as eoin3.

Dial up really sucks.

Should enter 21st century soon.

Ava Adore - we've talked about doing something like this forever but never went through with it... maybe it's time

You could send used boxer shorts for those people who score less than 1000 subs a month.

you could always consider having the shirts you rate highly printed the reward in itself

Ava that's a sweet idea.

mmh it could be a good idea but i'm a bit scared to see dumb people scoring tons of subs without look at them just to get points...
Avant
Avant on Oct 17 '05 at 7:20am
that's the best argument for it not to happen.

I think its sort of a good idea...but its also kind of our job to score if we want good tees

I like the idea of being rewarded for something I'm gonna do regardless... Mmm free tees

that's a hellofalot of scores! member since '03 doesn't hurt. (-; best yes, that's a few clicks on the old threadless counter.

i like that idea because i haven't gotten a threadless shirt yet and i've b een a member for pretty much a year now.. its depressing.. [i used to have other names buuuut i lost the passwords, and i like this one better]

how about if you have to have been a member for at least 3/6 months? i think if you've a member for that long you start to actually care about the ocmmunity and not just getting free shirts, yanno?

amen to hat people

did i type 'hat people'? there's a sub idea in that somewhere...

If they did something like this it would have to be random... for example, say tomorrow, every user who has been a member for > a year and has scored >2000 submissions gets 10 street team points. This is just an example. This way, faithful members get rewarded instead of some new 13 year old who has a lot of time to spare each day.
