Heading to Chicago!

Hello friends!

I'm heading to Chicago in a few weeks time for a holiday including hugs, beer, friends, and funtimes. So I thought I'd check with you guys and see if there's anywhere you'd recommend I go!

I've been a few times now to Chicago, and I lurve it, but anything new/exciting/quirky/different would be amazing.

Also, I'll be taking lots of photos with a new camera I've just ordered (wheeeeee!!!!) so am up for going for rambling photowalks to exciting places.

Any advice would be awesome!

Oh yeah - I love it there! I think Julia has a photo of me there wearing some weird glasses. I'll definitely go back though!

Also - I'm thinking of getting a pretty yellow Ukelele, will you teach me how to play it please? Is it very difficult?

Also, hmm, I can only really recall Uncle Fun's right now. I just kind of enjoyed wandering around the city and the park and seeing the interesting people.

Also also, hurray! Is it the same pretty yellow ukulele that you took a picture of? Because I loved that one. And sure! It's not very difficult at all. It caters to whatever your personal style might be.

It is the one in that pic! I don't know how to play guitar or anything, so I'll totally be starting from scratch, but I really want to learn :)

Yeah, wandering is the best. There'll be a lot of that :)

i can only refer you to places to eat or drink. if these are things you like to do let me know what hood you're gonna be in and i'll throw you my eating and drinking recommendations. (i eat and drink a lot)

Oh man. Thanks Nestor, but anything latin at the moment just makes my heart hurt. I have to tune out to people speaking Spanish on the bus... any other time I would have been totally up for it!
