is it for sure broke? Does the eraser side still work?

I thought mine broke a little while ago, but it turned out that the little wire that connects that pressure-sensitive part broke. I soldered it back together and it works fine now...that was about 3 months ago.

all that to say - maybe you just need a new pen?

i'd have one you could have, but i let my friend's wife borrow it. Then she cheated on him and moved out of the house...with my wacom :(

well... I've been carrying it in my back with me to and from work for the past 8 months.. now when I plug it in, the lil' light doesnt light up, and I try and use the pen, and nothing happens....

I don't think its the pen though - as the light is dead too?

So I needs a new one. Stat.

If anyone has one they want to sell, I will share my dinner with you. It's really yum.

The power supply probably got disconnected. That actually happened to a refurbished one that I bought. Open it up and see if any wires are disconnected. If it's really broke it wouldn't hurt anything.

what's the deal with the bamboo ones - are they just cheap and nasty? I am on a budget... Any suggestions would be great. Mine is (was) a graphire

Mine's a Bamboo one and I love it as you well know. Amelie bought me it and I think she paid about 100 Euro for an A4 one, but an A5 is much cheaper I believe.

I think you should open it up, especially if you are just going to toss it. I would also call wacom and see about getting it repaired.

Stu! I was just about to ask about the Bamboo's - they look pretty cheap but are they OK? I mean, are they just as good as the higher up models but just without the programmable buttons?
