U.S. Cellular is doing a black friday sale where you can renew your contract for two years and get a new phone for free*, and you don't have to pay to drop out of your current contract. I have a blackberry curve now, but my brother dropped it and cracked the screen which would cost me $50 to fix. So I figured why not pay $30 and get a new phone and save the $20? I'm not real thrilled with the curve anyway.
So, that leads me to my question. Phones. There are a lot of new ones out since I have looked at phones. Here are some I have been looking at: HTC Touch Pro 2 Blackberry Tour (possibly too much like the curve though?) LG Tritan Samsung Caliber I mostly use my phone for texting, I don't do a lot of talking. And of course pictures, facebook, twitter, I use my calendar a lot... *you have to pay the discount price for the phone, but you get a rebate back in the mail for it & you have to pay a $30 activation fee Anyone have any tattoos on their feet? I'm thinking of getting an ampersand on my foot, below my ankle and by my heel. Like this. I've read that this can cause your foot to swell for several days and you're more likely to have infection/complications with tattoos on your feet. I don't know if the people that were saying this got larger tattoos or what, but mine would be about the size in the picture.
Remember the Summer Blockbuster Movie posters from last summer? I have one and I have it hanging up but it just doesn't go with my room because it is black and white. I'd like to add some color, maybe the whole thing or maybe just a few things. Probably just a few though.
Has anyone tried this? What would be the best way to do it? Paint, colored pencils, markers?
I just bought a red Chevy HHR on Tuesday and I have to go get my tags and such this week. I was thinking about getting a vanity plate (you know, a license plate that is personalized) but I can't decide for sure what I want on it.
I was thinking Casshole, Cassie, my first and middle name somehow, or something... Any ideas? Or, do you have a personalized plate?
Some of you may remember a few weeks ago when I thought I was going to be able to keep the last dog left in my dog's litter of pups she had and it ended up not working out. Since then I haven't been able to get the thought of having my own dog, the two dogs that live with us are my brother's and sister's.
Well, I got in contact with a lady who needs to rehome her dog. She was from a past relationship and she's been trying to find a home for her. Nothing is set in stone yet, but the lady said she is willing to drive close to two hours one way to bring this dog to me because we seem like a good match, so unless something changes on her end the dog is going to be mine :) Right now her name is Athena, a perfectly good name, but I read it is a good idea to change a dog's name when you adopt it. So, meet the dog currently known as Athena.  What should her new name be? Here are some of the ones I thought up already: Esma - I know there is an Esme in Twilight, so I am not too sure about this. I don't really want to name her after a character in a book I haven't read. Thova - My cousin has a dog named Nova and I think it might be too similar... Eloise - Possible nicknames can be El, Ella, or Ello Rumer - Either pronounce Rum-er or more like Rumor... Eden - I dunno, I just like it I keep plugging Athena into the Baby Names renamer...but I would like some suggestions and input :)
The Sims 3 comes out next month. Is anyone else excited?
