is it possible to lock objects inside a group?

i hope so, but you probably can't. i can't find it in the settings or anything.

ungroup the objects paste them in their own layer click the arrow on the left and you can lock those objects.. or I guess you could leave them on the layer click the arrow, find the group and lock them like that too.

hmmm, i guess that would work danielle. but why isn't possible to lock them by apple+2'ing those guys. c'mon adobe, lets get on that

select with white arrow, apple 2, and that should do it.

it just doesn't lock. the outline blinks and then its still selectable

Yeah, it locks the section so I can't highlight it but when I change the color of the unlocked portion everything changes. Sorry!

s'okay! just weird why a shortcut wouldn't work inside of the group when it does outside of one. oh well, manually clicking is THAT much of a hassle (:
