This time last year I was unfortunate enough to find myself in a relationshit with a woe-man. This year I'm as single as the day I was born. Tonight there will be no contrived gestures of Love™, no pained exchanging of gifts, no pressure to conform. I know what you're thinking, but you are wrong - It most certainly won't be an evening of onanistic pleasure, due to having recently removed my sexual organs by way of a rusty bread knife. Yesterday I watched seven episodes of Rome (HBO - amazing show) and am now feeling very Roman. I've also been listening to The History of Rome podcasts and have two epsiodes on my ipod that I shall be listening to this afternoon.

There is no point to this blog other than to act as place to post anything relating to ancient Rome.
