i used to play sunday league football. at best i could be described as mercurial (in as much as nobody really knew what i was gonna do - me included). due to this i spent a considerable time on the sidelines. on particularly cold mornings i used to take along a flask of hot tomato soup. it was a lot better than playing football

I'm flasking it to save money. £1.50 a day on coffee = £7.50 a week = £30 a month = about three hundred quid a year on shit train station coffee! but not any more thanks to my lovely flask.

in australia we cover both bases and call them a thermos flask. and we take soup in them once and it ruins them forever.

Why do you need to bring it with you to work? I just make coffee when I get into the office.

I use one of those insulated mugs with the lids, because I always end up forgetting the coffee when it gets busy, so it keeps it warm(er).

I'm a zombie before coffee, I like to have a dose before I get into work. I nearly bought one of those mugs, an aluminium Berghaus one. Pretty cool, like a grown up beaker.

i used to have awesome flasks when i was a kid - i say flaskS because invariably I would drop and break them on a regular basis. were lovely filled with hot chocolate on a cold day though.
