So yeah - I'm starting to get a bit more involved in Threadless now - as time passes, I find more and more that you can't find very many cool T-shirt designs up here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Sure, if you're into the rock scene, emo scene - you guys got stuff. I can't say that I really blend too well into those genres - I need things that are a little different to best accentuate my eccentricities. I find myself making frequent trips down to Buffalo, NY to appease my need for fashion that separates myself from the crowd - but is it enough?
Now that I've started up full-time work and have yet to move out, get a steady girlfriend, and all those other things that apparently I should be doing, I find that Threadless helps keep me busy. I'm still waiting for another reissue of Don't Play With Matches to replace the Large I'd gotten a while back and couldn't quite fit - no matter what anyone tells you, remember this next time you travel: Canadian sizes are slightly smaller than American ones. Then again, I guess it depends on the type of clothing. I find that I fit into a Large short-sleeve, yet a Medium long-sleeve. Man. Why can't they all be the same cut? Right - so here I am at work, keeping myself busy, and I guess I have a little bit of time to flesh this out some more.
So I'm a mix of a little bit of everything, to be honest. I like to design things - I plan to get some designs in to Threadless as they come to me; I work on a comic universe whenever I can find the time to chip away at it; I have a bunch of ideas rattling inside my head for projects I'd love to work on... I like to write - whether it's ghostwriting a rap for someone, entering a poetry contest, or putting up strange entries in my blog, I love using words to express myself I love to dance and discover new dances - if you show me a good club, with a great crowd and atmosphere, and amazing music, we've got a great thing going on! I love food - experiencing new foods, cooking with friends, finding out about new spices and preparation styles... I guess I'm a bit of an information junkie - I like to know a little bit about everything, but not everything about a little. Keeps the options broad. I love to sing - karaoke is something I enjoy, but is not to be confused with karaoke bars, which I don't really enjoy as much. Especially when the crowd is way too somber. Basically, I just like trying to enjoy my life as much as I can possibly do. Gotta just keep experiencing things, and get the best of it all. What what! --case p. |
