It's a real Cinderella story this year with the Manic Attack, in the past 5 or 6 years that they've been a team they only won 4 bouts total and they were kinda the joke team, then this year they get serious and start kicking butt and now they're in the championships. It should be an intense bout tonight.

Chicago is an awesome place to be in the summer with all the events and fests going on. (which makes up for all the shitty winter months)

I badly want to come back to chicago, I'll have to have holiday in a summer but it wont be for a few years.

I would love to be in Chicago @ 6pm! Looks like a really FUN night.

(Me not even in US either....)



I've always wanted to go to one of these - or try it out ;)

I even have "stage names" picked out for myself like: Gypsy Rolla, Rosey Raider, Karma Krush! sigh....

Wow, I can honestly say that that was the greatest sporting event that I have personally been at.



The Manic Attack (who only won four games previous to this season and who were the only team never make it to the championship game before), beat the Hell's Bells (The team that's won the championship the past four years).

I think I might try to volunteer next year(obviously not as a skater) but my name would probably be "One eff" since that's what the derby girls I know call me or else i would want to be "Mega-Jef"

one eff is kinda funny because of the possible connotations
