Brian,

I don't mean to start any trouble with you and I'm certainly not implicating you in anything, but I'm starting to get a little paranoid.

I thought it was pretty weird when a design called "Spoilt" showed up on Threadless a few months ago using some of the same ideas as a shirt I designed a couple years ago called "Spoiler."

Now I come across Quack Attack and it bears a striking resemblance to a punchline of a comic I did in November, 2003!

Like, I said - I'm not suggesting anything. I just think it's crazy that there are as many like-minded people out there.

Either that, or I'm not as clever as I give myself credit for!

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to point out! For what it's worth, I really like your design treatment. I'm kicking myself that I didn't think of it first!

The idea is similiar, but the style and execution are completely different. The same Good idea strikes different people all time.

It's sort of close, but you know, ten million nerds generating content will independently arrive at a good number of the same ideas.

Like for instance "Quack Attack" was the title of some segment on Darkwing Duck...a 90s cartoon.

haha the comic was really cool! so is the tee, though! this shirt reminds me very much of last week's reprint defend the kingdom. same sort of concept but both are great designs, and i got a decent laugh out of each.

The first one I can see, but the duck gag's been around awhile. Kids Next Door did a similar skit in one of their episodes and they probably got the idea from somewhere else. Don't let it get to you, sometimes originality lies in the exicution not the idea.

that is kinda suspect...but then again, calculus was invented independently and simultaneously by two different people...
