tuesday will be the start of my 3rd week back.

live it up now though cause life gets tough after college.. not awful but tougher

I'm not at all excited to start year 3. Classes begin wednesday.

Maybe, I really like college so far.

I really like being at school with my friends, but I am not looking forward to the start of classes

I do socialize, I'm part of a tutoring program for workstudy and i do the school radio station. I just had a bad experience with a few people that I thought were my friends, now I'm petrified to see them at all.

I go to UMASS

College can be very difficult. Students in thier first years of college have one of (if not the single) highest rates of depression in the US. College tends to come with a lot of new freedoms and responsibilities which effect people differently. Some enjoy the first part (to excess in a lot of cases) while some become burdened by the latter. So you certainly aren't alone.



I like to encourage taking time off after high school, even though it's quite uncommon in the US. I know I wasn't ready to fully experience and enjoy college life at that point in my life...and I think it spoiled a lot of things for me by not following my instincts on that one.

I'm a sophomore, eh.

I went to Catholic U. and it sucked.



I transferred back home to the local community college and I'm a little bit happier, I'm hoping to transfer out after this fall.

I'm half a week into freshman year and I like it...mostly cause our dining hall has ice cream machines on every meal and it's really easy to steal fruit. I think some people are way better off taking a year off, but I think I would have been miserable doing that. One of my friends already had a girl in her hall throw up in the toilets twice this year from being so drunk, though.
