Hey all!
christ, i havn't been on here in ages. Mainly because im so busy, also partly because when i do come on here, i never recognise anyone :( Hi if you remember me! Anyhoo, the main reason of my visit is because my holiday to americaland steadily approaches, well ok its not for a few months, but im excited already. I have 3 main worries at the moment, the first is being shot, the second is the plane being hijacked and the third is lack of tea. The first 2 i am just gonna have to hope dont happen, but with the third, am i going to have to bring my own tea or do you Americans drink it? Are you ALL coffee drinkers? Also, if you do sell tea in cafes, is it real tea? For example, i went to Spain the other year and they tried to convince me that tea was a teabag in a cup of hot milk!! Yikes! This all sounds petty i know, but me without tea is not a pretty sight. Cheers!
My oh my oh my!
Now usually, one would slate the American portion sizes, but today, while watching these Gilmore people on a DVD Miss Emily Dickson kindly sent to me, i noticed that when Rory was finally ready to 'Wallow' in episode 17, she was holding the largest tub of ben and jerrys ice cream in the whole world! If i could manage a simple task like posting the scene here, i would, but if Emily herself is here, or any other Gilmore Girls junkies are here, please tell me these tubs exist! P.s. Someone please tell me Rory gets killed off as the way she says 'thank you' is starting to irritate me, along with other issues, but mainly just that.
Oh my word.
Who, what, why?!?!?!?!
So...last night i sat down and watched a 'celebrity' special of the weakest link, as you do. This time it was comedians having a go on the show.
Anyhoo, there was one funnyman who was canadian (i think...he couldve been American...but is there really any difference?!*) I guess he was trying to promote himself in the uk by coming on the show and he ended up coming across not one bit funny but everytime Ann asked him a question, decided to jump up and down on the spot & speak/squeal really loudly. To top it off, he decided to do the walk of shame in the nuddie. Me being me, i would like to give him the second chance and check out some of his work. I cant remember his name but i think he said he'd one a big award recently in america. Anyone? *JOKE GODDAMNIT!
