perhaps a total side-note, but when we went to the museum there in chicago, i was very surprised at how little the t-rex skeleton is

after years of hearing how it was such a monster

anyhow, that's what i think of every time i see one now

to bone up (pun intended) on my trex anatomy i watched jurassic park and i thought it was funny that the only person eaten by the trex was the dude on the toilet and he was devoured headfirst because the trex's mouth is so thin

i took that exact photo up top and just went over it with my tablet, then i took another photo of the krog character and did the same... it all ends up 100% tablet work but im essentially tracing my own linework... the only design i have made 100% without sketches was that spiritual symphony design

photoshop, illustrator can be nice but it doesnt handle linework the way i like it to, i think its a matter of personal preference really... honestly i wouldnt sketch much with your tablet

even after all the practice i have with mine there is an obvious loss of hand eye coordination, a line that takes 1 try with a pencil will take 3-4 tries on the tablet

This sooooooooooo reminds me of this awesome old-school all-over t-rex blood splattering tee i had from the first Jurassic Park movie. Since i now longer own that bit of shirty awesomeness, I think it's time to get it's spiritual successor aka this shirt!
