I've always wanted to, but last time I went they said I was too skinny. Which sucks, so I'm gonna try again soon.



But I have donated bone marrow! That was easy. It didn't hurt a bit and you got a cool t-shirt after!

I've given blood many times, and I've never felt faint or queasy. But needles or blood never made me feel ill, even when I was very small.

Well, the age restriction is 17 in Ontario, at least. Don't know about other provinces and I have no idea about the U.S.

There is an age restriction in the U.S. but if you are under-aged you can still give blood with parental permission.

I would give it if someone I knew needed it and I matched up but I'm deathly afraid of needles. I mean I'm so scared of them I got my last filling (drilling and all) done without any novacane or anything because the needle scared me so bad I was shaking. Gah! I'm getting all creeped out just thinking about it.

They don't want my blood either. I'm always borderline anemic. My boyfriend donates platelets. If you have the time, it's very worthwhile.

i sorta want to but im getting all paranoid i might have something that might make someone sick or something even tho im prefectly healthy...i have had blood taken for tests many times...once i get over my paranoid ideas i might give some ;)

i cant give blood im hypo glycemic and anemic they always turn me down, even tho they always tell me i have excellent blood for donating cuz its the right consistancy or plasma or whatever

speaking of blood..today during the news they showed this very smart guy that placed an item in deremate.com, which is like ebay, trying to sell blood with aids..of coarse it was a joke, but he is now in custody and they are testing him just in case he is hiv positive...so stupid

mm thats what i remember from high school anyways, i have some memory loss on the matter about what blood was compatible with what, i think it was ab with a or b , a with a, b with b, and o is universal..ugh im totally guessing..
