Hey everyone
I know by the title this sounds like it's going to be one of those bitch and moan blogs, but I'm trying to avoid that. I haven't been around in a while and I just thought I would see what's up.

I'm going to make an effort to be here more often this year.

Things arent changing as quickly as I'd of hoped, I'm still stuck in a dead end job with no sight of a way out.

On the plus side I'm doing more photography and starting new projects so hopefully things will turn around.

the dead end job part sucks, I can relate to some degree.
I added you to my flickr so I can watch your progress in the photography department. I know I'd like to get more paid photography work this year, I'm trying to save up now to buy some new equipment.

Cheers mate and yeah paid work would be awesome, I'm just not sure how to go about it, right now I'm shooting with a d40x which is ok but I only have a kit lense.

I'm also shooting film (I have some film being developed) which is awesome because people keep giving me stuff, a lot of people seem to have old cameras and equipment lieing around and I get given stuff from time to time.

I'm thinking about just making a massive, massive change to my life, I think I'm just going to say fuck it and move down to london.

Getting by is going to be difficult at first but I cant stay living at home with my parents.

It hard to find paid photo work these days, I get some freelance from the company I work for (magazine company). I have some old film equipment that I haven't used lately, but I keep thinking I should pull it back out... Free equipment is always awesome, even if it's old.

Sorry to hear that things aren't going so well for you either, I guess the positive is that it's early in the year and there is still time to turn it around. At least that's what I'm hoping.

laksa? as in the spicy noodle dish??

Sometimes it's a good idea to make a risky life change, it has always ended up worth in the end when I've done it.. I might need one by the end of the year.

That's the one! Aside from that it's been a big reflection time after attending an old friend's wedding on Jan. 1st.
