I'd have to go with red ... I'm just a very bland color guy, and red shirts scare me. I guess I know girls that look good in red shirts, so maybe they dont scare me, I just dont like wearing them.

Threadless colour: I was really disappointed with the silver, because it's kind of a gray. It's basically white, as far as I'm concerned.

Svetlana on Jan 24 '07 at 1:27am
I'd never buy a yellow shirt unless I could try it on first to make sure it didn't make me look like a corpse. Creme is a little tricky to wear too if you're the same color, i.e. pasty white.

I have that problem with cream, svetlana - looks like the design is just a chest tattoo.

Oh yeah, actually I like the yellow color, but they get dirty super fast. They're worse than white.

Coral. I still can't wear deadless since they printed it on that. Its my favorite print too, and I can't even wear it.

it seems like everyone hates white shirts on threadless- any sub (often- not always) seems to be put down for it's offer of a white tee.
i don tknow if you all agree- but it sure seems that way.

I don't wear anything in the red-yellow area. I'm just not a fan of warm, bright colours.

hey!!, GRAY/GREY is the best color or colors [whe you consider that vast array of shades , without it being cosidered another color] that isn't really a color at all...

I love gray, it is so versatile...and you can spell it 2 ways.

The orange and yellow shirt colors are hideous. I'm not crazy about light blue, but if the design is right, I'll wear it. I prefer darker shirts because I'm a messy boy. All the white shirts I own are too stained to wear after a month or less.

Grey. Dark green is my favorite for a t-shirt. :D

I really HATE the grey shirt color SILVER. It's hideous... far too light to be grey.. but not white... it's like dirty white. Ewww.

I'm also really sick of Creme & White colored shirts! Not only do too many great designs get printed on creme (like half of my threadless tees are creme.. how boring!) but they get dirty very quickly and as a girl you have to be very concious of your bra color or it will show through.

I hate white .. I mean the design can look awesome, but it might be ruined when printed on a white tee. I guess because white is the most common color for tees ... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, here's an example http://www.threadless.com/product/923/Sugar_And_Spice . I'm sure a different color would have been more effective. Thats my two cents on this topic .. cheers.

White and natural.

Natural looks dirty from the minute it comes out of the wash, and white is screaming for me to spill something on it.

Yellow. I have fire engine red hair, so combine it with a yellow shirt, and I look like ronald mcdonald

i hate any color that doesn't work with the design...I don't have an unfavorite color. Or when the tee is on a color you know is perfect for it and vote highly, and then the design comes to Threadless in something hoorendous.

I don't like heather grey... because usually, a grainy tshirt doesn't look well with a solid design.

I can't think of any color that I hate. I mean, I probably wouldn't wear pink on account of my already overly feminine features; but I don't hate the color.

You can see the whole colour palette here: http://www.threadless.com/profile/769035/a/blog/488091/Threadless_T_shirt_Color_Palette

White - gets dirty easily, doesn't hide black bras, and it's boring.

Creme/Sand - makes me look like a ghost and not in a good way, and is boring.

Yellow/Gold - Hideous on almost all adults, but cool on kid's tees. This is my current number one culprit at the moment? Why is everyone submitting crits on YELLOW???? eugh!

Orange - stands out way too much in a crowd and makes most people look terrible. I can't think of a single design off hand that merits orange.

Kelly Green - great on kids. Some designs merit this on adults, but not tons.

Pink/Light Purple - both have a female only audience, and even then look silly on most female adults. On little girls (provided they like these colours) they can be terribly cute, but they get dirty and stain easily.

Fuchsia - a risky colour, but I've seen a few designs that really work well with it. Great on female kids tees.

Purple - as risky as fuchsia, but with the added bonus that more guys can wear it. There are a limited number of designs that really justify this. Good for kids tees.

Red - alright if the design merits it, that said, most designs don't merit it. Remember that lots of people don't look good in red. Great on kid's tees.

Heather Grey - looks like something to be worn to the gym because of it's textured colour. Why not just use dark grey??

Those that remain un-named are colours I think look good with many designs, and on most people.

What the hell do you mean "most shirts don't merit it"? It's not a science. And people like different colors.

That's just the weirdest phrasing ever.
