I don't know, I didn't like it for a long time while I scored it, but I actually ended up going back to it and giving it a better score, and I may actually shell out the seventeen bucks to buy it, just so strange people will talk to me as I walk around.

i just don't understand how something that scored a 1.76 scored so low when other people have great designs in the 3's (d3d to mention) and only have one print.

just another reason why it's pointless to score submissions.

Considering I live in Canada, far from Chicago, nobody. I did have phone sex with the entire staff though. It was a lot of work but well worth it.

Threadless obviously know what they're doing. Of course they keep the scores in mind, but they know a good design when they see one. This is one, screw the voters. The fact that it only scored 1.76 should be encouraging for many people by the way.

It's more about graphic design than a joke. Threadless needs to print shirts like these in order to uphold it's reputation among other professional design companies. 1.73 or not, it's still leagues ahead of most submissions in terms of contempory design.

I think I'll make a design that just says "SHIRT" in 12 pt Arial font. Or maybe Times New Roman. Damn artistic choices...

I'm really glad this thread came up - I thought that it was one of those awful text shirts threadless is whoring. now looking at it, I see it's some really high caliber work and beautifully rendered. congrats on the print, ray. just beautiful work.

the serifs are obviously uneven making this, not so much a font, but I was just pointing out that it appeared like a font I used to have. the work within the letters are well done, just i can't figured out "why" in the grand scheme of things.

How? This is better both in design and concept as well as 'selling power' for threadless than the majority of shirts that scored ''exceptionally better''. If you don't like it. Don't buy it... It's not like you've gotten ripped off or anything by have a great sub with an amazing score that hasn't gotten picked. You haven't subbed, and if you had it isn't a big deal. There's 7 other shirts for you to pick from if your placing an order this week! :)
