I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to using flickr, so forgive me if this is a stupid question.
I was skimming through my work on flickr when I noticed that a couple of my illustrations have been viewed quit a few times more than many of the other designs around them. And they are not part of any group pools or galleries. So my question is: Does having a pro account allow you to see if someone has linked to one of your designs? Does it give you any other info on who is viewing your designs? I'm just curious as to why some designs seem to attract more viewers than others. Thanks XOXOXO -Andy
Update: I've found some time to try to and finish this. Any last minute suggestions? Ready to submit?
Around the World in Eighty Days
Some friends are having a spam cook-off tonight. For my entry I'm thinking of making a spam pizza, unfortunately it has been ages since I've had spam, which I believe I have only ever tried once, so I'm not familiar with its taste (does it just taste like ham?) or what would go with it.
I'm going to be cooking this on a pizza stone, and I'm thinking of just going with a simple recipe using mozzarella and/or fontina cheese, onions, bell peppers, olives, and sliced spam, but I'm open to any suggestions any of you pizza experts might have (I don't like mushrooms).
Here are two designs I'm currently playing around with. Any feedback on how I can improve either would be great. Thanks.

I thought it would be fun to start a blog were everyone posts illustrated recaps of some of the more bizarre dreams they have had. It would give an amusing look into each others minds. So bookmark this blog, put a notepad on the nightstand, and come back here anytime to share with us any lucid and strange dream you might have had.
Here’s one I just recently had:
I'm trying to cram in one more design (3rd) for the Loves Childhood competition before the deadline tonight. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how to improve this. Thanks :)
Cardboard conflict (Jeffy's revenge)
Edit: I made a few changes (Thanks for all the help!), and colored it with some watercolors. I removed the fish from the line, made the line less straight, and added some shadow behind the kid and cat to give the basket a little more depth.
Anymore suggestions? Thanks again! Title: Fishing for Rainbow Trout.
I've long been interested in going to Chicago, and this meetup looks like the perfect excuse to finally visit the Windy City.
Questions: How many days are you guys/gals going to be there, and is there a hotel that everyone stays at (for those of us who don't have a coach to crash on)? Thanks, XOXOXO -Andy
Since all submissions start off with a post by the artist (below the design) in the comment section, regardless of whether they actually leave a comment or not, could you possible make that initial artist comment editable in the future?
It would be nice if the designer could update that first post to clarify any confusion, or post links to additional color choices/alternate placement, etc. That way the voters can see these new comments left by the designers, without having to scroll through the page to find them. I don't know if any of that made any sense. It was just idea that popped into my head, as I was trying to clarify some confusion someone was having with one of my designs. |
I haven't submitted any photos. I guess I don't want free money.
