about Jonah And The Technicolor Whale

My last winning design went up for sale 672 days ago, so it has definitely been a long wait to say the least. So thank you everyone who helped make me a winner again. I was beginning to wonder if I could even compete with all you new and talented artists.

I’ve got a funny story about this shirt (I’m lying. It’s neither funny nor interesting). So I opened my email to find two messages from Threadless. One telling me this shirt had won, and another telling me that my most recent submission had been declined. Talk about pooping in the punch bowl! It should have been a happy day for me, but instead I could do nothing but stew over my first declined submission. Anyone else ever find both the best and worst Threadless emails waiting for them?

i got an email from threadless saying:

"congrats we're pregnant!"

then a follow up:

"congrats after a t-shirt paternity test it's yours!"

shortly after winning, I had a declined sub, though mine was declined because I had riddled it with copyrighted characters.

Congrats on the new print, what a sweet day to see it up for sale, right at the pinnacle of a $10 sale!

first of all congrats.
Secondly, your story will make me check my threadless mail twice. I'm kind of used to just deleting them as they never say anything other than 'thank you for your submission' and those other standard ones.
