I'm afraid I don't really have any suggestions. Maybe make the Hulk colors ragged at the edge? I didn't get that one right away. But in any case, I enjoy the concept, and you're doing a nice job executing it so far. Good luck!

you can def get closer to the actual images because this would be considered a parody, like the capt. america badge make a star just rotate it slightly

hmmm, not sure if i could make it a start and still get away with it (seeing as a circular shield rotated is still the same ha), but also, i think the minimalist representations make it a bit more fun, because it takes a bit of thinking to recognize the representation.

if you have any other ideas for additions please keep them up though, i had thought about the star for captain america a lot

although Savage Dragon is probably too obscure for most people.

You could do Spawn though. He was a bit more mainstream because of the movie.

I am a college student that is majoring in computer science while trying to minor in both math (boo!) and art (yay!).

I have been a member and enormous fan of Threadless for years now.
