If so, I have a strange request. Could you email me your Illustrator preferences file? It's called "AIPrefs" and is located in:
Windows Vista - Users/(user)/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS2 Settings Windows XP - Documents and Settings/[user profile]/Application Data/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS2 Settings You'll probably have to view hidden files in order to find it. I'm trying to see if it's possible to run Illustrator on Linux using WINE, but since I no longer have Windows, I can't copy my own file. I assume this file isn't too large.
