I just wanted to know what people thought about designs that are boxed in. I quite like them myself and have bought numerous tees over the years like this. But the impression that i have been getting from people on here is that there not a good thing.

Is boxing things in, a Artist thing?

and

Is not boxing things in, a Design thing?

mmmmmmm?

KITTY! Sorry I can't help it. When I see it I just scream kitty.

Boxing things inlends itself to different things. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. I think in the end it really is all subjective. Personally I like shirt designs that are not boxed in. The shirts is your box/canvas no need to add more bounderies in my humble opinion :)

Hey Gibbo your cats super cute! Surely the impact of a design is more about whats in the box, rather than being negative about a design because it sticks to a certain format. Personally i think that if anyone is eager enough to dismiss 'boxed in designs' as holistically negative, then they are thinking in generalities. Its not the format but the content thats counts. Im liking your boxed in designs!
