I have bought quite a few Threadless shirts over the past 18 months, but I have noticed that the last 6 or so that I have ordered have been pretty poor quality - the shirts that is - NOT the prints. They are not always the best fitting shirts either (especially brown - but black is perfect). Weird..

Don't get me wrong, I love Threadless and the prints are always fine, but 2 of the shirts I've ordered in as many months have had faulty stitching and one even had a pretty large hole under the arm.

While I know that the shirts can be returned, I have not bothered because I am not US based.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Totally agreed about the sizing. Black shirts always fit ok, but the brown ones are terrible. I've bought three so far - Anthill Trap is fine, Beast and Pearls is a bit loose but Haikus Are Easy was so hideously unflattering (flappy sleeves and baggy all over) I had to give it away.

this is an issue that T-Less cont do much about as it is a fault of the manufacturer. but hopefully when they start using their own brand things will change

Well, I'm a new member and I haven't even received the shirt I ordered yet (this one, the Communist Party) so I'm not entirely sure on this, but I think for the guy's shirts they've started using Fruit of the Loom? I was reading something like that earlier. The girl's shirts are on American Apparel, and the like, Threadless Select guy's shirts are too, but all other guy's shirts are Fruit of the Loom. That may explain the suckage.

Can't wait for the new shirts. The designs are just too good to print on FOTL. I've had some sizing issues too, but I keep ordering because I love the designs.

My shirts are always too long, but that's nothing new and definitely not the fault of Threadless.

Well that's one of the reasons I only buy the Selects. I think that the American Apparel tees are much better and have more consistant quality control. I'm sure it helps that they are manufactured in the states by people paid a fair wage for what they do.

I really don't understand why T'less couldn't find a quality, politically correct, 100 % COTTON shirt to print the GREAT designs.

I too buy the shirts for the designs, but the 50/50 blend is uncomfortable and lessens the overall quality.

The majority of shirts I have purchased have been gifts, for women [100% cotton] But the quality of these still is not first rate.

I hope the T'Less brand shirts are a better quality.

I just received my latest batch and the quality is way different than when the shirts were on american apparel. I'll wait to buy anymore and try one when they've started producing their own shirts. I'm on the cusp of not being a fan anymore. sadness.

mpolo421, I'm in the same boat as you where I am simply not buying any for a while in the hope that the quality will improve.

For those of you that are saying that the quality of the shirts is not the fault of Threadless.. That's just plain silly! Quality control people...

Once again, I'd like to stress I'm not trying to bag threadless. Just wish the qaulity of the shirts was close to the quality of the prints. As soon as it is my mailbox will be bursting with new tees!

I think threadless does the 50/50 blend thing just to be unkosher.
They're anti-PC like that.
