i would love to be on that show, but have nightmares about them making me get rid of my threadless shirts

i even had a conversation w/ my roommate that if my coworkers signed me up for the show, we would send my shirts to a "safe house"

What is this show?

its a show where friends and family nominate someone to get a new wardrobe..they get to go to NewYork and get 5000 to spent on new clothes. and theres specialists and they get their hair done and stuff.

Sounds like a short summary of all that is wrong with the world.

I am not ashamed to say that I watch that show faithfully.

I was at some fancy schmancy store the other week, and I spotted a really beautiful pair of heeled oxfords. They were like, indescribably attractive. I looked at the price out of curiosity and I was like WTFF?? 175$?! I mean, that's a lot of money, but all the other shoes were 300 and so it seemed like a reasonable sum for these designer Italian heels.

Then I realized I have selective dyslexia, and they were really 715$. Bummer.

What? I mean, they're vast improvements, but it always looks like Old Navy does business wear.
