every mon/wed/fri, i get up at 6:52am. both my roommate and i have to leave for class at 8am, and with only one bathroom/shower, one of us has to be the one that gets up early and goes first. that person is me. (i know what you're thinking, SAME TIME! eh, we're not quite that close of friends :P)

today i woke up and looked at my clock, and it said 7:14. i panicked a little and rushed to the bathroom and hurried through my morning routine. shaved, brushed teeth, washed face, took my multi-vitamin, etc etc. didn't have to take a shower, 'cause luckily i took one before i went to bed. anyway, i got out by 7:28 and knocked on my roommate's door (our signal to signify that i am indeed done with the bathroom), and went back to my room to start to get dressed.

i was picking out what sweater to wear, and i wanted to check the weather to see how cold it'd be. i don't always do this, but today i did. and it's a good thing i did! i refreshed weather.com, and it told me the weather for 2AM onward. i stared it puzzled and refreshed again. "wow, huh, maybe their servers got stuck at 2am?" i looked down at my computer clock: 1:29AM. i blinked a few times. "wow, wtf, how the heck did my clock get set wrong? what's going on?" i turned and looked at my other clock: 1:30AM...... then it sunk in.

somehow i woke up, wide awake and thinking it was morning, at 1:14AM, and misread the 1 for a 7. wtf. no wonder dan didn't get up to go take a shower. now i was wide awake and nearly-fully dressed at 1:30AM. took forever to get my body to accept it was actually nighttime and to fall back asleep :(

update:


lol, this was the start to a really terrible morning so far :(

i got my midterm back finally, and i did terribly. and it was entirely because my professor refused to try and understand what i did, and just took off all the points because it didn't exactly match what he was looking for. i went to talk to him in his office and he was really rude and literally refused to let me explain anything.

prof: "this is not right!"
me: "i recognize that i didn't approach the problem the way you had intended, and because of that my recurrence relation is not correct for the way you were looking at the problem, but can i please show you why it is correct for the way i approached it, and why my approach does indeed solve the problem correctly?"
prof: "no, because this is not correct. you can't prove to me that it is correct because i know it is not"
me: "again, i know it is not what you were looking for, but i can prove to you that it is a valid answer if you just let me"
prof: "no, you cannot, because it is not correct"

he did that with every single problem, and so eventually i got fed up and just said to him:

me: "you aren't listening to what i'm saying, and you won't listen to what i'm saying because you don't want to. you won't even give me a chance, and so i am not going to continue trying to argue with you."
prof: "good."


jeez-laweez!


then i went to make an appointment for the eye doctor, and the only time they had open for the next week and a half was friday at 9:30, which is the only time i can meet with my homework group to work on this week's homework. goddamnit.



and all the good machines at the gym were taken and i had to use the crappy one.


*sighs* today sucks
