aka MC Kitchen of the FUTURE aka I'M A MURDERER! is a 33.3 year old boy, has been a member since January 4, 2006, has scored 3,663 submissions, giving an average score of 1.80, helping 51 designs get printed.
the story behind this new album is pretty crazy. apparently, it was recorded in an abandoned train station in Detroit after being written in a cabin in the side of a volcano.
I got a press release about it from their label Dead Oceans in November and it was all about how they were missing deadlines and wouldn't respond to any questions from the label about progress. Then they wouldn't give the label a copy of the album because they didn't want it to leak, only sending it to the vinyl pressers and providing them with incoherent clips from what they'd recorded. So, hearing finally this now is pretty encouraging.
They are also hosting a bunch of listening parties for the whole album across the country ,starting today and going through the weekend. Here is a link to the dates/locations for anyone that's interested.
