My state, Iowa, had same-sex marriage for about an hour last year. A total of one couple got married. Now the Iowa Supreme court is taking up the matter. Maybe we'll be next, but I won't hold my breath — Iowa hasn't been knows as being a trendsetting state (though we did pick Barack Obama by a wide margin...)
