sharp pains.

every once in awhile, I'll get these sharp pains right on my heart. They're not just pains in my chest like heart burn.

It's on my left side over my heart. They come randomly and not after I eat.

Some times, it hurts so bad I double over in pain and think my heart is about to explode.

Am I dying?

Seriously though, with a family that has a prevalence of heart disease it's no small matter when you feel sharp pains on your heart.

i had it the other night right when i was about to fall asleep, i doubled over in pain and almost fell out of bed

and once the bad part is over it only hurts to breathe in

I don't eat as healthy as I could and I barely get any exercise, though. That might have something to do with it, for me at least.

I still think you should go to the docs.

A friend of mine felt some weird pain once and wrote it off after WebMD'ing it, but it turned out that he was having a stroke.
It didn't occur to him that a 20-something year old could be in a more serious condition.

Just don't mention your heart pain.

I have until I'm 23 before I get kicked off my parent's health insurance. Before then, I'm getting every single test done, might as well use it up before I'm unemployed and uninsured.

I get these a lot. I hadn't really thought much of it, but I found out a couple weeks ago that I have a heart murmur. After that I kind of just assumed the two were related somehow.
