So, i'm a designer, not a screen-printer and new to the lingo that gets posted on the winning shirts, can someone lay down what some of this screen printing jazz is? and does it REALLY help to include this in your submisssion? or is this threadless' doing by adding the techniques THEY use?

Examples:
plastisol ink
a chino additive for softness
simulated process technique

Thanks for the help!

You do the designing, they do the printing, you focus on the design and that it's printable, they focus on the print part.

That's what i thought, so all of the examples i listed above i should not worry about? Because i'm not sure if those are submitted after by the designer or threadless??

Go read the pdf in the submission page, it explains what each of these is, and when you would want to suggest using them.

Unless your design requires specialty inks (glow, UV, foil, etc) there's no need for you to specify. I think you don't even need to specify simulated process anymore.
