Ok, I've been away for... sheesh! about a month. And I'm just encountering the new site for the first time. Things I'm figuring out so far...

tees
I see that it's actually much easier to navigate through the tees for sale with the new system. I like that the sold out tees are now in a separate tab. And the text category is cool. (how many people are posting "lose the text" in the scoring? *w*)

and yeah, there's kid's tees now.
and those fun little member pics on the side.

anything else change that I missed? policies? STP still the same?

profiles
I like the way the blogs are handled now. very graceful.

I totally dig that you can now use basic html in COMMENTS for a blog entry. so I can now bold people's names when I'm replying to them. or post real links. nifty. And it's cute that it says "remember, be nice!" when you go to post a comment.

our About Me section has now sort of taken a back seat. so for folks like me who had a lot of stuff in that column, our profiles look funny now. :) or maybe it's just because I gots no blog entries yet.

these little tab-y things at the top are nifty and a cool way to organize the info. though I have to say that it takes some getting used to now that the pages look TOTALLY different. things feel kinda wonky looking at the moment.

our "home" page can now have a RSS feed from another blog source, and those listy things I don't really know about. k... guess I'll see how that works.

rholiday mentioned something about our old blog entries, pre- new threadless dont' quite work. what's that about?

anything else? has the blog forum changed at all?

I'm liking the new site more and more although I think that the profiles have become a bit less personal. I'll just try and amend that by customizing everything, hehe.

See my two blogs about customization btw, could be useful. Especially farkode is helpful in easily making things bold or italics (install it, restart, set it to work outside of fark and then you can use shift+ctr+b and +i on your selection)

i'm not still sure about likin' profiles on the right...but maybe i just need time to get used to it!...when the new site was up, i didn't like the new blog and other stuff...now i'm addicted as to the old one!

yeah I can see the format feeling kinda databasey. the function seems cool, but the layout arrangement feels weird.

oh, that was "I (Heart) the new threadless" , but you can't do the little less than symbol and a 3 anymore cause of the html in comments.

Not to totally monopolize your blog space, but you gotta submit some slogans dyno! That's one of my favorite new parts of Threadless.
Submitting really stupid slogans for the type tees. It's great. Normally I put about 5 seconds of thought into them. I suggest you try some too.

No problem. There's a whole lot of nifty HTML entities you can use now. Accented letters (é), ellipses (…), real hearts instead of <3 (♥), pretty nifty stuff.

Yo Dyno! How are you? Good I hope. I'm also just discovering the new site this week. It seems more supple, neat and fast. I like it.
By the way, congratulations on your new gear, looks tight. The photo with you wearing the Shroogie: sleek, eeek! You'll be discovered someday, because that is simply so pretty! ;)

well, after a week from the release, i have to say that i think i finally like the new threadless.
lots of interesting features, expecially the "blog categories" (watched, partecipated, etc.) and the comments small pics, help a lot as "bookmarks" when you're out for some time.
the only thing i'm not completelt used to is probably the profiles on the right, but maybe i just need more time to get used to that!
anyway: thumbs up threadless!

yeah, I was just noticing the "watched" thing. haven't yet used it though. and I also find the profile on the right thing odd. probably because we scan left-to-right and I'm used to seeing a bit of an intro about someone before reading their blog. but I like it overall.
