It looks cool in the big design image, but when you look at the pictures of people wearing it, very few people pull it off. Maybe cause it's small and just looks like block of black in the middle of a shirt/

maybe there's no answers just mild observations that we should really let go of

IMHO, I think this shirt is a *perfect* example of where Threadless sometimes goes wrong. It's a great design--I put it in my cart before I looked at the photos--but the print takes up WAY too much space. It's just not in proportion with anyone but a select few bodytypes.

So my advice to Threadless is thus... Keep the designs rollin', but allow them to take up less space. Again, IMHO design has much more to do with "whitespace" than what you use to fill it.

In a way though, I'm glad, because if the image/size proportion were corrected, I think I'd be broke.

Are you saying that only skinny people can wear this shirt and be able to pull it off? That it will make fat people look stupid? If you are, that's a really screwed up thing to say.

I don't really understand how so many designs lately seem quite boring compared to the old spirit of threadless.

I guess I must have a pretty odd taste in shirt designs, but I've only liked about 5 shirts made in the past year. This looks like the kind of shirt that volcom or some silly brand would come up with. Oh well. Hopefully there are lots of people who do like it, in fact, I'm sure there are.

I think they're actually saying that it's harder for a skinny person to pull off, since the text will cover too much of their body.

@MrsMcMahon: don't be so hostile when you're not even sure what he's saying! And it's absolutely true that some shirts look funny on bigger people, just like how some others might look funny on skinny people. In no way was his comment meant to be an insult to people of any size!

Anyway I agree with tjnuckolls. This design is already so "blocky", and now that it's big as well, it just looks awkward on a person.
