One of the greatest film artists passed away, Ingmar Bergman.

Wild Strawberries is one of my favourite all time films.

Hasn't the general US public become desensitized to the meaning of the terror alert color changes?

Well, something about the language in an article on the front of our paper, though originally from the Chicago Tribune, talks about similar al-qaeda activity that suggests increased communication and mobilization--the article refers to a cell of terrorists in such a way as if Homeland Security knows exactly who is approaching the US or perhaps already in...

Here's the article

We have this couch in our lobby. Thought I'd fancy myself a little sit, this was at 2 am.

I check my phone....3:32....

Wtf.

So, either I blacked out or I fell asleep. Never done that before while on the job

Pretty sure the phone didn't ring or any guests came downstairs...

Just posting some things up to pass the time..

So, I've been at this hotel job for awhile now, working 3rd shift in exchange for a "luxury dorm" basically, only two minutes away from my uni.

The hotel was built in 1895, it's not my style, and I did not decorate or furnish anything inside...all free!

Bought a media tower/TV stand and have the TV pictured sitting on it with my awesome Garrard automatic 4 vinyl record player (bought it and it still has its warranty card from 1978). Been buying up a lot of great albums, need storage for records. Dad gave me a nice sounding receiver and pair of speakers. Mom gave me a microwave and a george foreman grille.

Yeah, I don't dig the tapestries.

I love lost and founds though with limits to responsibility!
I collect umbrellas and have obtained 6 very well designed umbrellas, one from a retailer that's exclusively sold in Britain. Ha. I'll give them away as gifts.

Just got curious and went through the lost and found just now. My laptop cord has been unraveling at the end b/c of the way I store it in my bag. Looks like a giant fire hazard. Found the exact cord in lost and found, they average for about 70 dollars plus shipping.

Just got accepted into the Architecture programme at my school, it has been my dream but it means I'll be graduating in...6 years....

Of that "musician" singing that song that goes something like "Don't give a hand to the man."

He was wearing like red or brown track suit, the video was from some decade long ago (70's, 80's?) and had a lot of people doing stupid dances.

ringing a bell?

I think the guy's name was Bobby something and the actual song is more vulgar but he had to change it a bit because there were kids around.

All about me
I archive/design/iron clothes.

I use a typewriter, at school. I'll be an Architecture Major next (or this current) semester.

I keep my alarm clock 5 feet away from me, on my TV which isn't plugged in. You see, it used to be on my nightstand, but I developed the ability to roll over and turn it off, causing me to be late getting up from bed. So now, I have to physically get up, walk to my TV, and hit the snooze button.

I've recently been published in a local literary periodical for a short story.

A short story a day keeps the numbness of life away.

Tobias Wolff, Flannery O'Connor, Chekov, Vive!
