Tell me some games for the Wii that aren't cutesy…

I got a Wii for christmas, but so far most of the games seem too cutesy for me to want to play. Where are the halo's and GTA's?

it's one of the prettiest games ever, and it's somewhat similar to Zelda.

i have residentevil 4, it's pretty great, and iplayed the fps but couldn't really get into it.

i'm really hoping for a gta-alike, and a tekken type of game to come out soon though

if you're looking for violent games developed by western video game companies, you're probably not going to find too many on the Wii, unless you're talking less graphically powerful ports of games available on ps3 and x360.

my mother gave me a psp for x mas...
i my firts thing to play videogames ever...
haha i don´t even know the name in english!! of that "thing"
haha i so.. i put music, movies...
i download planet terror and snatch
and then i bought lumines II and loco roco.. that is the best game ever when you´re toast !!
is like sony tell the beattles to make a game.. i recomended..

for wii... mmm i don´t nothing about it.. but i pear! love your pics.. i´m gonna make one of me in pixels!!! wiiii

Okami? it's a game that was originally made for ps2, and it's basically based off of the mythos of an ancient japanese wolf god named ameterasu. The entire game is designed in a way that it looks like one of thsoe japanese parchment drawings, and in the game you use a weird mystical paintbrush thing to draw things in order to manipulate the environment with your different powers, like you'd draw a swirl like you were drawing like wind, and resultantly a gust of wind would begin to blow, stuff like that, it's really beautiful. One of the prettiest games I've seen in a while.

man, it should be so much more awesome on Wii because of the motion sensoring technology, when I first played it on PS2 I was like "man, this would be great on DS or Wii"

Red Steel and Far Cry are pretty good first person shooters. i've got an xbox 360 myself but i played them at a mates place. to be honest i hated the wii controller.

i wouldn't mind some crazy ass adult orientated games also, but all these things eat up my time like a chubby fucker in hot dog munching contest

i'm still playing re4 at the minute, it's pretty superb too.
i've now got red steel and tomb raider but haven't really played either yet so i can't comment.

hopefully the third party developers will start pumping out more titles after seeing the sales the wii hit over christmas and the cute deluge will end.

i'm hoping against hope that the catalogue gets bigger, but i think i see a ps3 in my future.

the thing is, i love the controller (a medal manos??), it makes games like re4 amazing fun to play, but i need more of them
