In his defense, he did admit to using the chinese cartoon as inspiration when he submitted it to Lafraise. If only he had said the exact same thing when submitting to Threadless, none of this would have happened. But instead, he vehemently denied ever having seen the image here... so... *shrug*

Threadless staff, I do not envy the crew who polices submissions.

the whole thing just bugged me... i wouldn't have minded if he gave credit, you know? maybe because i'm in academia, and citing sources is really important (you know, that whole 'don't plagiarize, don't steal other people's ideas' thing...).



anyway, i figured that once apy saw that people found him out, he'd delete the blog. which would kinda be like getting away with it. so i just went up to file and clicked 'save page as html'.

quick thinking. i'm with you on the appropriate citing of references/sources.
