Short version: I GOT A JOB!!!!!

Longer version: A few weeks ago I interviewed for a preschool aide position. On Monday, I got a call saying I interviewed very well, blah blah blah, we're hiring someone with a little more experience but you're still highly qualified and we like you and such blah blah blah. So obviously I was a little upset. Today, after I got home from subbing, the principal from that school called and said they are offering me the job if I still want it! Yay!!!

So now I'll be a preschool aide! It's a step up from subbing (albeit a small one) and I'll make a little less, but it's a better step towards getting a full time teaching job which is ridiculous around here so yay!!!

I found out about this site while subbing today and thought it was pretty awesome. We watched Stellaluna and A Bad Case of Stripes, both were really fun. :)

Are any of you going to watch tonight? It's not going to really start here until about 3:30 a.m. and should last for about two hours. I need to be awake at 7 and ready to go by 7:30 tomorrow, but I'm going to try and watch anyway because I really want to see it!
