Glad its not just me, all of the blogs about it were saying how great it was and it just makes me shiver, isn't it just taking pleasure in suffering?

Nothing is suffering here. It's called 'illustration', it's not real.

I know its an illustration but it depicts the suffering of this woman. I don't know why people are attracted to this kind of illustration, and why you would want an image where someone is practically being tortured on your shirt.

i think of it as the layers of a person whether they be mental, physical, or spiritual. the awareness of those layers is beautiful although sometimes painful.

It's a nesting doll. A toy object. If you don't like it, fine. But it's really not worth getting upset about.

I knew someone would say, but its a nesting doll. I was just expressing my opinion, I don't feel like I sound like I am getting upset. I was just curious as to why people liked it . Yes I am aware that it is a nesting doll and that is why the concept works, I'm one of those people who doesn't want anyone to be upset even a depiction of a nesting doll.



I like chelly's view on the image, it does make it seem much less distrubing when you think of it that way, I was just looking at it at face value and didnt even think to look at it that way. I don't always look deep in to images because if I draw something it rarely means something deep, can't an artist draw for the sake of drawing?

This shirt was in my order that was lost. Part of my soul was lost with it.

Some people expend way too much energy reading into things.

I love this shirt. I guess I just like the fact that it's the idea of the dolls taken that one step further. You have every right not to like it, but it seems strange to think an illustration has feelings.

No nesting dolls were harmed while making this tee-design.

I just read this by coincidence and I totally agree with you. But I feel that way about many Threadless shirts, and also things like Happy Tree Friends ... I guess I just have no sadistic core in me whatsoever.
