the one w/ the grasshopper is dark. hard to differenciate the characters from the background.

first off, i think it's a really nice looking site, and your artwork is gorgeous. however, i think the website itself could use some work. while the image map at the bottom is pretty, it's difficult to navigate. i also noticed that the entire website seems to be images; there's no actual text. this causes two problems: one, images take longer to load for people with slower connections. and two, without real text, your website will never be found by a search engine.

i think the whole thing would work better with a simple organized menu at the top, maybe with some smaller versions of the pictures you have at the bottom. you want to have that same menu on every page so that people don't have to use their back and forward buttons if they don't want to.

get some inspiration from figfigs.com! ha. just kidding. it sucks.

my only criticism is that it's very large (like chelly said) - and I like me some large images, but I do not like to adjust my sliders.
the comics themselves are real nice work

great feedback, thanks everyone. part of me knew i was making them way too big, but it definitely helps to hear that. i'll retool and take it from there. i agree with everything said here, thanks again.

yeah, that was pretty weird. i didn't know what digg was, and couldn't figure out where all the traffic was coming from. pretty cool though.
