Every monday I browse through the new selection and see tons of new shirts I'd love to have but I'm always hesitant to buy them because of sizing. Threadless's smalls tend to run on the large side, and that is usually to big for me. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this issue, but how sweet would it be if Threadless printed in youth large size along with their normal sizes. Most shirts go up to 2XL, why wouldn't they also include us smaller people? What do you guys think?

Beh. I am a youth large and most the shirts are only a tad too big. It's good that I can wear them and grow into them without outgrowing them fast.

you can get girly sizes which are way smaller

or you can send them an e-mail

Girly small is sort of on the puffy side for me too. It's the cut, it gets baggy around the waist and back.

Are the girly sizes just smaller or are they cut differently? What girly size would be the quivalent of a Youth Large? thanks for all the input

Girly sizes are cut differently - they nip in at the waist and have a lot smaller sleeves than mens sizes.

Yeah, I have two s's, its consistantly spelled wrong, especially by my teachers :P I still love it though

So how would one go about contacing Threadless and trying them to bring youth sizes back? Should I jsut click on "contact" and send them a message or would I need some type of petition?

You see shimala who just replied to you, a couple of posts above? He's a Threadless staff member, so you've already contacted them.

Girly large should be the equivalent of youth large. The girly shirts are NOT fitted at the waist, so they fit generally like youth sizes.

what about the baby sizes preferably 3.375 kg size

loserbeech on Dec 04 '05 at 6:11pm
Girly shirts are fitted. Look at the size chart, the width of the waist is considerably smaller than the chest: http://www.threadless.com/sizechart

I have girly smalls and mediums and none are fitted. There are no seams up the sides of the shirt.

Girly t's are American Apperal, guys are Fruit of the Loom. The girls XL is about a size (maybe a bit more) down from a guys S. The girls t's ARE fitted (some have seams up the side, some don't).

A better solution to Youth L would be to switch guys t's to American Apperal. American Apperal offers a better (smaller, more fitted) fit in a wide range of sizes.

I would buy Threadless again if they switched to AA.

i dont know.. i own american apparel guys smalls and i love them and they fit great.
ijust got some FOTL small tees from here and they suck. they're too tight and not very comfortable. AA just fit better... they're not exactly smaller i dont think because well... doesn't fit me that way

i can wear a kids size large, like at shows. or a chick medium from threadless. THUS, order a chick medium. or small, depending on how skinnnnnnny you are, i suppose.

"are you really small or are you just one of those kids who likes tight shirts. if you are really small, i know what you mean. my friend jon always complains that they are too big."

I'm a pretty small guy (5'5 125lb) and I also like my shirts on the slimmer side (but deffintly not showing like a midrif or anything). Either way, the smalls just go way below my wasteline if I don't constantly fold them up or something.

i wear a YM and get the medium girly tees here. i'd reccomend you get the large girly. the only difference i have noticed is that they have a bit of stretchyness to them

Why doesn't Threadless print Youth Large sizes?

because kids were not meant to wear goatse.

werd.
Also, as a person of x-large stature, I find sympathy a hard thing to grasp in this situation. My apologies, but a youth size at 17? That's beyond the scope of my imagination.

Yeah the girly small shirts I have aren't fitted. Hence the baggy midsection.

I'm afraid that if they do print youth sizes, it'd be too short for me though. (5'8")
