I loved this submission and I loved that it got printed, however the exclusion of the glasses seems a bit odd. I kinda like the addition of the moustache, because we all know we need to bring them back.

Also the quality of the photo of the design itself (not the wonderous Moss interview photo) looks very grainy and pixelated. I'm hoping it doesn't appear like that on the shirt, but one can never be too sure.

In conclusion, why the changes and what's with the grainy\pixelated pic? Is this bothering anyone but me?

its so people dont jack the big image and use it as their own...

actually i believe shimala said somethign about the dimensions of the big zoom photo being different on the new threadless then it was on the old site, so the image is being streched out. they just havent fixed it yet

Only one comment mentions the addition of the stache : Kallers on Mar 31 '06: "It would be perfect if one of them had the 70's 'stache!!"...but no one said anything about the glasses.

I'm probably fretting too much over this, and I'm probably still going to buy the shirt, I just want answers....

I still think it's Jim Mckey on the right, but I've had this conversation before.

I kind of prefer the older version, but I still kind of adore the new one.

I agree. The stache is a nice touch.

Hmmmm....there should really be more shirts with facial hair on them......

Hmm...if only a designer would make a shirt with just tons of facial hair, and like label each one cleverly.....Man, That'll be the day.

I'd say it was probably because Threadless has to by the rights to an image if you use it as a reference in your design, which can be bloody expensive in some cases. This can be avoided by slightly changing the design, like the exclusion of the glasses and addition of the moustache in this one. :-)

This was one of the first designs I saw when I joined Threadless. Cool to see it finally printed.
