about You Were Plan B

I really like the color and I always enjoy matthijs' illustrations, but I'm not too terribly keen on the phrase, it feels too cocky for my tastes, but what are your thoughts? Is it more of a cocky phrase, or just a sweet ass shirt? I feel like adding it to my cart, but I need some persausion...

Is it cocky? I suppose it could be taken as mildly offensive to your girlfriend... but at the same time it is quite self effacing (ie: you fucked up Plan A) I dunno. I just like it cos it's purdy and maki's type treatments rule old skool.

yeah i never considered it cocky. i don't think anyone would either unless you said to your special someone, "hey fuck you! you were my second choice."

part of me feels the words remind me of the "Hi. You'll Do" type shirts over at hollister or someother shitty "popular" store.

Well, definitely this time around, though in general I guess I'm not a huge fan either. "Let's All Quietly Judge Each Other" is pretty nice...aaaand I can't really recall what other ones were OMG and I'm too lazy to look right now :-p

I like most of the OMG picks, but Simon Says was, meh...I wish they would reprint some of them, (you win again gravity, and real men hunt deer with swords)

yeah, i actually felt the same way about dearly departed. I almost got it but realized one of the names might hit a little too close to home and people would read too much into it. :/

wow, thanks dude, i really wanted to get us both in one picture, but i wanted to have two sets of street team points, so i decided to do that. I had a blog about it and someone actually said that it reminded them of some of your photo gallery pics.
